The MERKUR 500 Progress is a model from the 1950s. The antique brass knob
with the MERKUR engraving and the profiled handle tube correspond to this
period. The shaving head can be adjusted using an adjustment scale. The
angle of attack and the blade gap can be adjusted from the gentlest shave
to a close shave. So nothing stands in the way of your individual and
flawless shave.
With a turn of the knob, you can adjust the blade gap (0.6-1.6mm) according
to the setting scale from coarse for long hair to gentle for everyday
shaving. Completely individual according to your personal shaving feeling.
